About This Game Weary of the life as a lumberjack, you decide to leave the safe walls of your homeland in order to travel far away and begin the life of an adventurer. Months later, just as you start to doubt your decision, you arrive on an archipelago where you hear about something called “The Warhorn”: A relic capable of granting immortality!You decide to settle on one of the islands – where your story shall begin. The Warhorn is a take on the unique mixture of genres, the most important ones being RPG and city-building/management while other distinctive elements in the game come from the exploration, puzzle and open world genres. Explore a vast open world: Including 5 themed biomes like spring / summer, autumn, winter, desert and jungle having their own unique sub-biomes with their own unique resources and denizens. Solve challenging puzzles: While most of them can be done alone, some might need a helping hand – or two. Face various foes: Every biome comes with its own set of animals, beasts and other denizens. Some of them may be neutral, but others could be deadly. Learn new skills: Wield a sword, swing a hammer or laugh at brute force and master the elements like fire, ice and light. Villagers can teach you many things, but in order for them to share their knowledge, you might have to earn their trust first… or a sizeable amount of riches. Build your empire: Learn how to build with different materials and create a village to your liking. Villagers will gather resources for you while your villages’ soldiers are protecting your empire. Hard pass.. I am having a lot of fun with this game. I enjoy the puzzles and quests and the village building is great!. It's fun upgrading the buildings and levelling up your crafting building to unlock stronger gear to craft and feels like a nice touch to the survival genre.The puzzles i have found so far are fun especially the gravity one. some are simple like the first one i did but some made me stop and think for a couple minutes so it seems like there is a good mix of difficulty.The community seems nice, the Devs and community managers are friendly in discord, active and ask the community for idea's.I have come across some minor glitches which is expected of an early access game but nothing major or game breaking and the Devs actively check the bug reporting channel on their discord. I would suggest this game highly if you like survival games mixed with a little town building and puzzle solving.. there are a lot of small holes in the ground near ledges where if you fall into one you would be stuck there till you die. and if you try to take back your stuff you will get stuck again.. You would think that the terrible graphics this game has it would run well on anything but nope, my i5 doesnt run it so can not play with the wife since our second computer was just that, had if i was lucky 35fps . 60fps would be nice but for those graphics the buffering was absolutely terrible . look at the graphics man . i fell threw the world in the first 10 minutes and got a refund lmao terrible .note: the other 20 minutes i spent trying understand why you would put a game out that doesnt even have the ground finished enough to stand on? and laughing at my stuck body ... there was lots of that. I was hesitant to buy this when I saw the low amount of reviews but reading those 50 reviews (the majority of which are positive) I thought I may as well try it out. I mean I can always refund. I then purchased the title and jumped online to discover all of the official servers empty. In total there were only 6 people playing online. I almost refunded it immediately. I mean for a new release to not have any real online community was disheartening. I decided to play anyway with the intent to refund the game. Well 2 hours later I was having a blast. This game is a lot of fun. Kind of an old school adventure game. For a simple looking game it is actually quite a bit of fun and is certainly challenging so far. The game runs great and the bugs that I have discovered are very minimal and in no way game breaking so far. In fact this is one of the better EA releases I have played; and I fall for a lot of EA titles. This one shows a lot of promise. It's a relaxing game to play with plenty of tense oh %$#@ moments to mix it up. It is not D&D but it reminds me of D&D adventures...There is a lot of work ahead for the devs but so far so good. Even with the lack of player pop I will play this anyway. I love a good survival\/adventure\/fantasy type game.. This game like so many other early access games is full of bugs, glitches, lag/rubberbanding etc. With that in mind I am enjoying my experience so far. Developers obviously had some good ideas. It is not terribly difficult as far as survivors go but it has a lot of interesting little dungeons and things to explore. The building system is decent and just like Conan Exiles you can have villagers, warriors, and vendors in your town. There is a main city you start in that you can get quests and gear as well. There are mounts, spells, and a skill tree. All though the skill tree is very simplistic and unappealing. At its current state I would save your money. But if the developing staff continue working on it this game could be really fun.Remember if you let things like lag and bugs deter you in early access survivals then either you’re extremely picky or early access isn’t for you. If I had not kept that in mind for games like ARK, Conan, Rust and The Forest then I would’ve never gotten to experience some of the end results of those games. I am glad I gave them some time because they ended up all being great in their own right.
